About these terms
These terms form the contract between you and Vigour Vita Travel & Tours (company number [company number], registered office Greenfoot House, Bamford, England, S33 0BE). Please read them before you book. The person who makes the booking accepts these terms on behalf of everyone travelling and must be at least 18.
Most of our holidays combine travel services, such as accommodation, golf and transfers, and so are package holidays under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. You will receive the standard information form required by those regulations before you book.
Making a booking
After your enquiry we send you a written itinerary and price. When you’re happy with it, you confirm by paying the deposit. Your booking is confirmed when we send you a written booking confirmation, and the contract starts from that point.
Please check your confirmation carefully, especially names, which must match passports, and dates. Tell us about any mistake within 7 days.
Prices and payment
- A deposit of [deposit, e.g. 25% or £ per person] is due when you book.
- The balance is due [e.g. 10 weeks] before departure.
- If you book within that period, the full price is due when you book.
- If we don’t receive the balance on time, we may cancel your booking and apply the cancellation charges below.
Once your booking is confirmed we will only increase the price because of changes in fuel or transport costs, taxes or fees, or exchange rates, and never within 20 days of departure. If an increase would be more than 8% of the total price, you may cancel for a full refund.
Changes and cancellations by you
You can ask to change your booking at any time. We will try to help, but cannot guarantee every change. Changes may carry an administration fee of [amount] plus any costs our suppliers charge us.
You can transfer your booking to someone else who meets all the conditions of the holiday, if you tell us at least 7 days before departure. You and the new traveller are jointly responsible for any extra costs.
You can cancel at any time by telling us in writing. The following charges apply, measured from the day we receive your cancellation:
- More than [e.g. 70] days before departure: loss of deposit
- [e.g. 70–43] days: [e.g. 50%] of the total price
- [e.g. 42–15] days: [e.g. 75%] of the total price
- 14 days or less: 100% of the total price
You can cancel without paying a charge if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at your destination, such as a natural disaster or serious civil unrest, significantly affect your holiday. We follow the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s advice when deciding this.
Changes and cancellations by us
We plan carefully, but occasionally need to make changes, for example to a tee time or hotel of a similar standard. We will tell you about minor changes as soon as we can.
If we need to make a significant change, or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. You can then accept the change, choose an alternative holiday, or cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days. Where the law requires it, we will also pay compensation, unless the change is caused by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
Financial protection
The money you pay us for a package holiday is protected in case we become insolvent. Holidays that include flights are protected under our ATOL licence, number [ATOL number]. Holidays without flights are protected by [bond, trust account or insurance provider].
Where your booking is ATOL protected you will receive an ATOL certificate. Please keep it with your travel documents.

Before you travel
Passports and visas
You are responsible for having a valid passport and the correct entry permission for Sri Lanka, including an Electronic Travel Authorisation where required. Check the current requirements on GOV.UK foreign travel advice before you book and again before you travel.
Insurance
Travel insurance is a condition of booking. It must cover cancellation, medical treatment and repatriation, and the activities you plan to do, including golf.
Health and wellness programmes
Please tell us and your practitioners about any medical conditions, medication or pregnancy before your treatments begin. Ayurvedic and wellness treatments are not a substitute for advice from your own doctor.
Golf
Clubs set their own rules on handicap certificates, dress codes and caddies, and may change tee times at short notice. We will always try to arrange an equivalent round.
Our responsibility for your holiday
We are responsible for providing all the travel services in your package as described in your confirmation, whether we or our suppliers provide them. If something goes wrong, we will give you appropriate help and put it right where we can.
We are not responsible where a problem is caused by you or someone travelling with you, by a third party unconnected with your holiday, or by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. Where international conventions limit what a carrier or hotel has to pay, our liability is limited in the same way. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If something goes wrong
Please tell our team in Sri Lanka straight away so we can fix it while you are there. If it can’t be resolved locally, write to us at info@vigourvita.com within 28 days of returning home.
If we can’t agree, you may use [alternative dispute resolution scheme, e.g. ABTA’s].
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, or the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
